traded bullets for silver

I just got offered this for a pile of my pulled .223 bullets (i wanted $500 for them)

1 - 10 oz silver bar
10 - 1 oz silver rounds
$20 face junk silver (pre-64 quarters and/or halves)

I think i will go for it

Anybody else trading things for silver/gold?

Yes, easier to find ammo than silver right now.

You must be mistaken. Silver is worthless and could never be used to barter and trade.:sarc:

I would just be careful that the guy you traded the bullets to doesnt decide to trade ONE back for the silver:smile:

I don't know what those bullets are worth, but my spidey-sense is thinking good deal for you.

The guy who bought them is 800 miles from me. Plus I have ALOT more loaded ones left to exchange with him :ok:

I bought those bullets last year for $160 and now traded for $500 in silver. Kinda like you guys who got into silver at $5-6

He said his postman is anti-gun. Well this week he will have to deliver 2 small boxs that are filled with 40# lead each. Those things are HEAVY!

I also traded one of my .357mag for a small pile of silver. 16 prospectors for a gun i got last month for $200
I am also waiting on money from a preban AR15 i'm selling, guess were that money is going?
